We facilitate disability-related accommodations and supports that create a fair and equitable academic experience for students with disabilities at STU. We work with students, instructors and other units on campus to explore ways to remove disability-related barriers in all aspects of university life.
Learning Assistance connects you with tutors and Professors for one-on-one, personalized learning support.
If you have a print-based disability, you can access your texts and course packs in different formats, including:
- Text-to-speech software to listen to electronic versions of text material
- Magnification software to enlarge documents
- Electronic display (IPADs)
If you are deaf or hard of hearing, you can schedule the following services for your classes and other academic events:
- Sign language interpreters
- Transcription services
Notetaking Service is available to students with the peer notetaking accommodation. You can discuss your accommodation plan with your Counselor.
