We facilitate disability-related accommodations and supports that create a fair and equitable academic experience for students with disabilities at STU. We work with students, instructors and other units on campus to explore ways to remove disability-related barriers in all aspects of university life.

Learning Assistance connects you with tutors and Professors for one-on-one, personalized learning support.

If you have a print-based disability, you can access your texts and course packs in different formats, including:

  • Text-to-speech software to listen to electronic versions of text material
  • Magnification software to enlarge documents
  • Electronic display (IPADs)

If you are deaf or hard of hearing, you can schedule the following services for your classes and other academic events:

  • Sign language interpreters
  • Transcription services

Notetaking Service is available to students with the peer notetaking accommodation. You can discuss your accommodation plan with your  Counselor.
